Recycling NiCD batteries at Advanced Battery Systems

If the seal is on it, we recycle it!

The portable rechargeable power industry produces millions of Nickel-Cadmium (Ni-Cd) battery packs every year for use in power tools, camcorders, cordless and cellular phones and other rechargeable products. These portable rechargeable products accept hundreds of charges and give people the freedom to work and play in ways they never could before. But what happens when the capacity to hold a charge is finally exhausted?

The Rechargeable Battery Recycling Corporation (RBRC) has developed a program for the collection, transportation and recycling of Ni-Cd batteries that meets all federal and state mandates. We are a non-profit public service organization working to educate rechargeable power users about the benefits and accessibility of Ni-Cd battery recycling and to implement recycling programs where none exist.

But for us to recycle your Ni-Cd rechargeable batteries, the EPA Certified RBRC Battery Recycling Seal has to be on the batteries. If you make, market, or collect Ni-Cd rechargeable batteries or the products that use these batteries, RBRC could be your recycling solution! Click the seal to find out more about it.
